And the bells toll

She walked in looking as beautiful as the first ray at twilight.
He gazed and fell in love with her all over again.
She stood there taking vows for a life time together.
He stood there recollecting when they had first met.
She held out her hand to be taken forever.
He stood there holding onto all that he had.
She walked away a newly wed bride..
He was left in the crowd wishing his love a happy married life

not fair! not fair! not fair at all! why did it have to end on such a sad note???? it started off so beautifully......it was only at line 6 did I realize that something was amiss.....and the last line was a complete heart-breaker :-( let the happy endings be there in dreams, at-least :-)

Interesting kind of poetry. It was nice although I personally can't stand anything linked with Romance... yeah, even in literature and poetry, let alone in real life!!

The concept was really nice. You have a good blog here. Keep going. Best of luck!
